GECAM – AIR FRANCE Meeting

The Director of Air France Cameroun met Thursday June 20, 2024 with the President of GECAM, Mr. Célestin Tawamba.
This meeting comes after a letter sent to Air France by Celestin Tawamba issuing the quality of services offered by this airline to Cameroonian users in general, and to GECAM’s members particular.

Over a period of almost 70 minutes, the discussions clarified the above-mentioned correspondence, setting out the main complaints of GECAM members on the one hand, and the constraints faced by Air France on the macro-economic level and within the framework of its activities in Cameroon, on the other.

The company’s forecasts for improving service to Cameroon by 2025 were also shared with the bosses boss.

At the end of this tête à tête, the Director of Air France Cameroun promised to bring the demands of the Cameroonian Employers’ Association to the attention of the highest authorities of the French group, in order to find appropriate solutions within a reasonable timeframe.
