These initial contact meetings are in line with GECAM’s vision of being closer to its members. An approach appreciated by AZUR S.A which¬† ¬ę¬†now puts faces on GECAM and is happy to establish contact with the linchpin of the employer‚Äôs association¬†¬Ľ. NESTLE Cameroon is equally pleased to have its focal point at GECAM in the person of Mrs Elodie FAMPOU.

These visits enabled GECAM executive to discuss the problems facing these two major companies, each with its own specific characteristics. The general conclusion, however, is that the inflation currently affecting the country is having a major impact on household purchasing power, and consequently on the turnover of these companies.
