COMPANY VISITS : ON 30th AND 31st MAY 2024 IN DOUALA

The Executive Director of GECAM, Mrs Aline Valérie MBONO, accompanied by  Mrs Elodie FAMPOU, Head of service in Charge of Major Companies & associations, visited AZUR S.A and NESTLE Cameroun on 30th and 31st May 2024.

These initial contact meetings are in line with GECAM’s vision of being closer to its members. An approach appreciated by AZUR S.A which  « now puts faces on GECAM and is happy to establish contact with the linchpin of the employer’s association ». NESTLE Cameroon is equally pleased to have its focal point at GECAM in the person of Mrs Elodie FAMPOU.

These visits enabled GECAM executive to discuss the problems facing these two major companies, each with its own specific characteristics. The general conclusion, however, is that the inflation currently affecting the country is having a major impact on household purchasing power, and consequently on the turnover of these companies.

The difficulties faced by these members did not fall on deaf ears. In its new dynamic, GECAM has opted for a personalised service for its members, whatever their size, with monitoring services dedicated to every type of business.

Several other companies visits are planned in the coming days.
